Maplewood Senior Living (Westport, Conn.) has converted 13 assisted living units at the Maplewood at Weston senior living community into memory care units.
The project included demolition of the existing apartments to accommodate a new palette of finishes, reconfiguring the rooms, and updating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fire suppression systems.
The memory care neighborhood includes a community kitchen and multiple common spaces to provide a welcoming and easy to navigate environment for residents and visitors.
The project team included The Architectural Team (Chelsea, Mass.) and Nauset Construction (Needham, Mass.).
