Brookdale Wooster is putting the finishing touches on its $7.4 million dementia-care expansion scheduled to be completed this fall in Wooster, Ohio.
With the expansion, a new one-story, 27,000-square-foot building is being constructed on the Brookdale Wooster campus. It will offer Clare Bridge, Brookdale’s program of person-centered care for those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
The new community includes workshops and areas of discovery as well as art, music and movement programs, and safe, secure access to walking areas, courtyards, and gardens.
Brookdale Wooster already offers 11 dementia-care apartments along with 36 for assisted living. When Clare Bridge opens, those memory-care residents will move there and Brookdale Wooster’s current building will be entirely dedicated to assisted living.
