Validus Senior Living, developer Mark Bouldin, and the marketing arm of the National Football Association (NFL) Alumni Association known as Pro Football Legends, have entered into an alliance to build assisted living and memory care communities in major cities for retired NFL players.
The latest project has broken ground near Orlando, Fla., and will have 124 units, with licensed bed capacity for 158 residents. It will feature a pool, boardwalk, dog park, tiki hut, putting green, fishing pier, water views, fine dining, and more.
The new Inspired Living Community is expected to open in summer 2016. The developer is also teaming up with Piper Jaffray and ORIX USA on this and other communities. Approximately $1.1 billion dollars will be invested in constructing 33 assisted living and memory care communities in the United States, during the next five years.
