Planning for Temecula Assisted Living in Temecula, Calif., has received the green light from the Temecula Planning Commission.

The 86,465-square-foot assisted living community will be designed to serve some residents with memory issues and will be built in two phases.

Phase 1 will involve construction of a two-story building for both assisted-living and memory-care patients. Phase 2 will be a one-story building exclusively for memory-care patients.

Proposed amenities at the community include a theater, a hair salon/spa, fitness center, bistro, library, and activity rooms. Outdoor, the community could feature a terrace, bocce ball court, dog run, hummingbird garden, outdoor fitness station, and walking trails with seating.
