Oakmont of Whittier, in Los Angeles County, Calif., recently celebrated its grand opening and is now open for move-in.
The community features resident apartment homes with 10-foot-high ceilings, crown molding and oversized, double-paned windows that bring in natural light. Residents can choose units with either a full kitchen with stove top and convection microwave oven with granite counters, or a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, sink and granite countertops.
A bistro, activity rooms, dining room, and a living room with fireplace provide common areas for residents to gather. The community also includes amenities such as a fitness center, massage room and beauty salon, and more.
Residents can enjoy a flower and vegetable garden, walking paths and a pet park.
