Dr. Phillips Inc. (Orlando) has unveiled plans to create a senior housing and healthcare community on 26 acres in the Dr. Phillips neighborhood in southwest Orange County, Fla. The $75 million Spring Lake Health and Living Campus, with the Orlando Health Medical Pavilion, will provide offices for primary care physicians and specialists, as well as 80 independent living apartments, 70 assisted living units, and 30 memory care apartments that will overlook Spring Lake.
The 180-unit senior housing complex will be developed and operated by Harbor Retirement Associates. Specialists in oncology, cardiology, orthopedics and geriatrics will be located on site along with imaging and diagnostic centers, a pharmacy and a café. The 60,000-square-foot medical building will be developed by Dr. Phillips.
Dr. Phillips Charities is expected to break ground on the Spring Lake campus in summer with plans to deliver the medical pavilion in fall 2016 and the first housing units in fall 2017. SC Advisors acted as the development advisor for Dr. Phillips Charities on this plan.
