Valley Health Services (Herkimer, N.Y.), an affiliate of Bassett Healthcare Network (Cooperstown, N.Y.) is preparing to open the doors on a new $8 million assisted living facility in Herkimer.
The facility will have 46 studio apartments (with room for expansion) and is located on a 220-acre site with open fields, woods, and a pond.
It will offer a range of services including personal care, room and board, housekeeping, personal emergency response services, nursing care, physical, occupational and speech therapies, medical supplies and equipment, and case management services.
MorrisSwitzer Environments for Health (Boston) provided planning, architecture, and interiors services on the project.
