Detailed plans for a new senior living community have been approved by the Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission in Pleasant Prairie, Wis.
The development, which will be named The Addison of Pleasant Prairie, will offer a fitness center; greenhouse; salon; therapy room; arts and crafts room, central dining facilities; a multipurpose room; and more.
The project is being developed by Senior Lifestyle Corp. (Chicago). The first phase will be to construct a three-story building with 96 units and surface parking and the second phase will see the construction of a 66-unit senior housing facility with underground parking.
Work is expected to begin this fall, however no time frame has yet been established for the second phase of the project.
