An agreement has been signed between Guangzhou City Construction & Development Design Institute Co. (China) and Independent Management Group (Melbourne, Australia) to partner on senior living business.
Guangzhou Institute, is wholly owned by Guangzhou-based and Hong Kong-listed developer Yuexiu Property Co. and has been involved in the design of some nursing homes in Guangzhou. Yuexiu Property recently launched a seniors' housing research center.
Yuexiu Property plans to set up pilot projects in the near future to begin renovations at some clubhouses in communities and turn them into day centers for seniors.
