Sunrise Senior Living LLC (McLean, Va.), is moving forward with construction on a new community in Southern California that will offer assisted living and memory care programs. Sunrise at Palos Verdes (Torrance, Calif.) is expected to open in early 2016.

The community will feature approximately 80 units and a flexible layout that will offer a variety of memory care neighborhoods and programs, depending on the individual needs of its residents.

Residents will be able to enjoy landscaped outdoor spaces and Sunrise Signature dining. The community is expected to offer enhanced perimeter security, Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the premises, and emergency call systems.
