Friendship Retirement Community (Roanoke, Va.) will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Friendship Health and Rehab Center South on August 2 . Crews will begin work on the new facility to give a major upgrade to the current 373-bed facility.
Currently, Friendship Health and Rehab offers skilled and immediate nursing care, sub acute care, inpatient physical, speech and occupational rehabilitation, memory care, psychiatry, and palliative care.
Construction, led by Turner-Long Construction Co., is estimated to take about 18 months, with completion in the fall 2015.
