Friendship House at Royal Oaks Lifecare Retirement Community in Sun City, Ariz., has broken ground on a new senior living project.
The 53,000-square-foot facility will provide memory care in a residential setting, moving away from the skilled-care model that has been the norm at Royal Oaks and many other retirement communities.
Construction is scheduled to be completed in spring 2015. Sundt Construction Inc. is the general contractor. The architect for Friendship House is Todd & Associates with interior design services by Thoma-Holec Design, both from the Phoenix area.
