Designed to meet the unique needs of assisted living residents, each dimension and technical configuration was carefully determined with comfort in mind. Higher-than-average seat heights promote ease of egress, while shallow seats promote full contact along the user’s back. Arm height and dimensions allow for easy grasping and better leverage. Narrow seat widths encourage proper alighnment of shoulders and arms, and upright back pitches support users from the lumbar to the shoulders, facilitating healthy, formal postures. The collection comes in six styles: Johanna, Sylvia, Randall, Stella, Morgan, and Lorraine. The new line can be used in lobbies, dining areas, or senior living apartments.

Marlite's Induro Fiber-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) with SaniSeal Trim Technology, a new wall system for healthcare facilities offers a smooth surface, free of seams, cracks, and fissures and is impact and abrasion resistant. It reduces the potential for moisture and healthcare-associated infection (HAI) causal agents to be harbored in fissures and seams. Applications for the new wall system include resident rooms, treatment rooms, corridors, and restrooms. The system employs durable, decorative, laminates with a FRP core and a patent-pending trim-to-panel dual seal which provides a tight seal to inhibit moisture. It is ideal for new build and modernization projects for acute care, behavioral health, and freestanding long-term care facilities. Stain resistant and tested to NEMA LD-3-2005 Cleanability/Stain Resistance testing, the surface can be cleaned and sanitized using common healthcare-specified cleaners and biocidal cleaning agents, respectively. A wide variety of wood grains, solid colors, and abstract laminates provides a broad palette of designs that coordinate with case goods. It has been abrasion tested to ASTM D – 2197 Surface Abrasion Test standards and is available in UL Class A and Class C fire ratings.

Butler Mobility's new Vertical Platform Wheelchair Lifts for home use are a solution to raise a wheelchair from floor-to-floor. This helps to give the resident access and independence in their home. The vertical platform lift, which is equipped with a folding end ramp, automatically closes and has a guard that locks securely in place during operation. The unit is also usable both indoors and outdoors. It can hold up to 750 pounds and, in the event of a power failure, the wheelchair lift has an emergency hand crank that can transport it slowly and safely to the lowest level of the building. The unit has a parts and labor warranty of up to five years and the ability to be used in all types of weather. Additional features include an optional key-operated control system, a nonskid platform and ramp, and a weather-resistant powder-coated finish. The electrical system is located above the ground and sealed against any moisture leaks.

Both will be available in brushed and polished stainless steel and a new oil rubbed bronze finish. Crafted of 18-gauge 304 stainless steel, they will be offered in the standard lengths as well as custom up to 100". Ideal for hospitality or commercial spaces, all drains are ADA approved.
