Voting is now closed and results are in for the 5th Annual Environments for Aging Remodel/Renovation competition. The projects were reviewed and evaluated by a panel of experts appointed by The Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments (SAGE).
Readers—including architects, interior designers, and facilities—wishing to highlight innovative and thoughtful design approaches that brought new life to a long-term care space were encouraged to take part.

The winner will be published, along with the runners-up, in the Fall 2013 edition of Environments for Aging and the award will be presented at the 2014 Environments for Aging Conference, May 3-6,2014, in Anaheim, Calif.
