Shepherd of the Valley (Austintown, Ohio) has completed the first phase of a 34-acre senior living campus in Salem, Ohio, according to Salem News.
The first phase entails 12 independent living villas, which are set to open to residents this fall. Future phases of the project comprise 24 additional independent living villas, 52 independent living apartments, and an assisted living building with 36 private suites.
The assisted living building is expected to be completed in spring 2027, with the independent living apartments to follow in early 2028.
The independent living villas range in size from 970 to 1,465 square feet with one- and two-bedroom floor plans, a front porch or patio, and single-car garage or carport.
Planned amenities include a central clubhouse, chapel, on-site restaurant, fitness center, library, theater, and lecture hall.
