Porters Neck Village, a senior living community in Wilmington, N.C., has started the second phase of a redevelopment project, according to wilmingtonbiz.com.
The phase includes 67 new homes, a 27-unit apartment building called Egret Landing, and five village flats known as Heron Cove.
Additionally, a courtyard community space, expanded green spaces, and walking trails are part of the project.
The first phase of the project, completed in 2023, added 44 homes across four new buildings along with indoor and outdoor dining venues, a theater, arts and crafts room, and game room.
CJMW Design (Winston-Salem, N.C.) is the architect for the project. Clancy & Theys Construction (Raleigh, N.C.) is serving as the general contractor, and Life Care Services Development (Des Moines, Iowa) is the developer.
