Parker Health Group (Piscataway, N.J.) has proposed a 14-story senior living community in New Brunswick, N.J., according to mycentraljersey.com.
The $200 million project is awaiting approval by the city’s Housing and Redevelopment Authority and would replace The Francis E. Parker Memorial Home, a skilled nursing community founded in 1907.
The new community plans comprise 171 residential units, including 109 independent living apartments, 30 assisted living units, and a 32-unit memory care neighborhood. The project also includes a 210-space parking lot.
Once approved, construction is expected to begin in 2027, with completion targeted for 2030.
