Kaigo Senior Living (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada) held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on Skaha Seniors Community in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada, according to the Times Chronicle.
The long-term care community will feature a household model with 200 single-occupancy resident rooms arranged in 12 households. Amenities will include a chapel, library, therapy and wellness rooms, activity and craft rooms, and a family dining area.
The community will also include staff housing and classroom space to support training.
Construction is expected to be completed in 2028.
