Peaceful Pines Senior Living (Milbank, S.D.), a division of real estate development firm HME Companies (Carlsbad, Calif.), is set to start construction on a new senior living community in Michell, S.D., according to a news release.
Peaceful Pines is partnering with local developer JTZ Properties (Michell, S.D.) on the project, which will overlook scenic Lake Mitchell.
The project was approved in July by the Mitchell City Council, mitchellnow.com reports, and will house 55 independent living, assisted living, and memory care units in a new 59,000-square-foot building.
Residents will have access to a dining room, salon, and fitness area.
