Sunrise Senior Living Breaks Ground On Assisted Living And Memory Care Community in East Long Beach, California

Plans call for 86 residential units, fitness and wellness centers, and four secure landscaped courtyards.

Sunrise Senior Living (McLean, Va.) broke ground on a new assisted living and memory care community in East Long Beach, Calif., according to the website presstelegram.com.

The 2-story building will comprise 62 assisted living units and 24 memory care units, including studios with private bathrooms and kitchenettes for the assisted living units. The memory care community will include a mix of private and shared suites.

Residents will have access to a fitness center, wellness center, several dining venues, library, theater, beauty salon, family gathering spaces, and four secure landscaped courtyards.

The project team includes HPI Architecture (designer; Newport Beach, Calif.) and W.E. O’Neil Construction (general contractor; Los Angeles).

The community is slated for completion in 2027.
