Affordable housing developer and social services organization Trehab Community Housing Development (Montrose, Pa.) held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction on Henry Meadows Apartments in Tunkhannock Township, Pa., according to the Wyoming County Press Examiner.
The 62+ affordable senior living community will house 32 one-bedroom units, three two-bedroom units, and six wheelchair-accessible units on a 7.6-acre lot. Each residential unit will include a living room, eat-in kitchen, and bathroom with walk-in shower.
The project is expected to be completed in fall 2026.
