Convivial St. Petersburg CCRC To Begin Construction In 2026 In Florida

Convivial St. Petersburg, a new continuing care retirement community (CCRC), is expected to begin construction in 2026 in St. Petersburg, Fla., according to stpeterising.com.

To be owned and operated by nonprofit developer Convivial Life (Venice, Fla.), the $172.5 million project will house 170 one- to three-bedroom units in two 9-story buildings connected by a skybridge.

Amenities will include a seventh-floor outdoor recreational space with a lounge pool, cabanas, poolside bar and grill, and activity space. The community will also offer a full-service gym, aerobics studio, juice bar, spa, beaty salon and barber shop, a 116-seat auditorium, and multiple dining venues ranging from casual to upscale.

RLPS Architects (Lancaster, Pa.) will lead the architecture on the project.
