Presidio Springs Senior Community Redevelopment To Add 205 Units In Santa Barbara, California

The Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara is planning to redevelop the Presidio Springs Senior Community to add 205 units for a total of 327 units, according to Noozhawk.com.

The affordable senior living project is expected to start in the summer of 2027 and be completed in multiple phases over 10 years, with Phase 1 consisting of demolishing a 10-unit building and replacing it with a 40-unit building. Phase 2 will add 63 units; phase three will redevelop 24 units into 113 units; Phase 4 will bring 32 additional units and a community room; and the final 59 new units will come in Phase 5.

The project team includes architectural and interior design firm Cearnal Collective (Santa Barbara).
