LRS Architects Promotes Two Senior Living Sector Team Members In Portland, Ore.

Amy Hjelte was promoted to senior associate, and Paul Kurth was promoted to associate.

LRS Architects (Portland, Ore.) promoted two team members with backgrounds that include senior living projects, according to a news release.

Amy Hjelte, who joined the firm in 1997, was promoted to senior associate. A specifications specialist at the firm, her past project work includes Parkview at Terwilliger Plaza, an 11-story, 127-unit independent living addition to a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Portland, opened in April 2024, that is designed to Passive House standards.

Paul Kurth was promoted to associate. He has been at the firm for more than a decade in roles from job captain to architect and design lead on projects in the senior living sector and others.
