Continuing care retirement community (CCRC) Venice On The Isle held a groundbreaking ceremony for a $78 million expansion on its campus in Venice, Fla., according to businessobserverfl.com.
The project comprises two 5-story buildings with 54 new independent living units, ranging from 1,300 to 1,800 square feet, to the community’s existing 234 independent living units, 48 assisted living units, 16 memory care units, and 64 private skilled nursing beds.
Amenities will include a 9,200-square-foot wellness center, an indoor pickleball court, spa and sauna, poolside lounge with a pizza oven, and zero-entry outdoor pool.
Completion is slated for the end of 2026.
