A public-private partnership between Bogan Developments LLC, Edison Community Partners, and Mt. Zion Baptist Church (all in Kalamazoo, Mich.) plan to build Zion Place, an affordable senior living community, in Kalamazoo, according to mlive.com.
The project will consist of two 3-story buildings with a total of 70 units, a rooftop patio, and shared space for activities. Four of the units will have two bedrooms, and the other 66 will be one-bedroom units.
Developers expect to finalize purchase of the property where the community will be built in early 2025. No construction timeline has been set.
