North Bend Residences, a 62+ affordable senior living community, broke ground in Fairview Heights, Ill., according to the website riverbender.com.
The senior living community will feature one- and two-bedroom single-family homes, attached duplexes, and a 20-unit residential building.
A community clubhouse with a computer room, exercise room, multipurpose area, and a gift and sundries shop are also planned.
The project team includes general contractor Carlson Nationwide Construction (Joliet, Ill.) and developer New Life Community Development Corporation (Elmhurst, N.Y.).
