The Aurora Housing Authority (Aurora, Ill.) is building 1449 Senior Estates, a 62+ affordable senior living subdivision in Aurora, according to the website patch.com.

Situated on 12 acres, the senior living community will have 70 ranch-style units, including 50 duplexes and 20 single-family houses with attached garages.

Amenities will include a neighborhood clubhouse with an activities room, fitness center, and media center. Multiple outdoor recreational spaces are also planned.

1449 Senior Estates is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.


Northern Lights Development Corporation (Aurora) and Hope Bound Development Corporation are the developers on the project.
